The Gay Charlie Kirk Way Collection
The Gay Charlie Kirk Way collection is a response to the Westminster City Council's 4-1 decision, led by councilwoman Amy Phan West and Mayor Chi "Charlie" Nguyen, to name a street in the city after controversial, racist and homophobic podcaster Charlie Kirk. This desperate political stunt is most likely an attempt for the mayor and councilwoman to popularize themselves amongst conservative voters, as both are actively running congressional campaigns for 2026. Proceeds from this collection will be donated to community-based organizations in Orange County, CA.
Our goal is resistance:
A resistance to ineffective leadership and the divisive, hateful rhetoric that city council has aligned with.
